- Epidemiology of modifiable lifestyle factors such as physical activity on chronic health conditions.
- The changing patterns of health and lifestyle factors recorded in the Health and Wellbeing Surveillance System (HWSS), and the effects of exercise and lifestyle on health conditions including cancer, cardiovascular disease, asthma, Parkinson’s disease and osteoporosis.
- The use of linked databases to assess incidence of and recovery from various health related morbidities and mortality associated with physical and sedentary activity.
